The Beginning of Our Summer

We have had a fun start to our summer. First, Harris and I went roller blading in the park. It was really fun since Harris got to have the skate park all to himself. He was able to try out some tricks on his rollerblades that he hasn't done in years

I was also able to go and see Harris's sister, Mikayla, play softball with Mike and Jo. Harris wanted to come too but he had to study for his last final. She is an awesome first baseman and pitcher. Her team won first place in the tournament with an undefeated season. She did a great job!

Harris and I were able to go up to Manti and see the Manti Temple Pageant on Father’s Day weekend.  Since the pageant didn’t start until 9:30 pm we did not get back to Mona until 1:00 am.  Harris’s parents were so nice to let us stay the night with them in Mona.  We were able to spend Father’s Day with them and Jo cooked a great dinner.  It was nice to get out of Provo for the weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a really fun memorial day weekend. First, we hiked Squaw Peak and it took us about 4.5 hours to go up and down!! We may be a little out of shape. But we had fun getting in shape together. It was so freaking muddy when we got closer to the top, so needless to say, we had to take some extraoridanary measures to get to the top. Harris also found a small cave on our way up the mountain.
Then on Monday we went 4-wheeling in Mona and saw Ironman 2 with our friends Blaine and Krystal Bassett. It was a fun weekend.

This is our crazy life as the Taylor Family. I just graduated from Brigham Young University in Global Studies. My husband, Harris, and I have been happily married for a year and a half. He is going to BYU and studying Mechanical Engineering and is really ready to be done with school, but he has a year left. We are living in Provo and just loving life!
